Modem Configuration for NSN C2110 (Type-1)

NSN C2110

You have chosen Nokia Siemens Networks modem (Model: NSN C2110). It is a type-1 modem in context to BSNL modem terminology. It has one Ethernet port and one USB port for PC connectivity (No Wi-Fi).

                         I will discuss the bridge configuration (i.e dialer mode) for this modem pictorially with required text when needed. I will break the whole modem configuration procedure in two steps. Please follow the steps:

STEP 1. LAN Configuration:

              Put the IP address in Local Area Connection as-

              IP Add: 192.168.1.50 (Say)

              Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

              Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

              Like-

              

STEP 2. Modem Configuration:

              Open Internet Explorer or other browser, and put 192.168.1.1 in address bar of browser and hit enter.One window of modem configuration will open, put the user name and password as-

              User Name: admin

              Password: admin

              Like-

              After providing user name and password, you will come to the home page of modem.Click on Configuration -> internet connection. Like-

              

               Delete each configuration one by one except bridge_0_32, then edit bridge_0_32. Like-

               Change VCI=35 from 32 then click on next -> next -> next -> click Apply. Like-

                

               Then Click on Admin -> Reboot -> Select Reboot from: Last -> then click on Reboot. Like-

               

               After 1 minute of rebooting, it will complete the modem configuration. Now use broadband.
