Modem Configuration

BSNL Provides various ADSL Routers (Modems) of different Make as well as type.Configuration of all modems are nearly same. If understand modem configuration for one type you may do for others. Modem can be configured in different mode, but I will consider here only Bridge Mode (or Dialer Mode ). If you are interested in other configuration mode like PPPoE (i.e. always on mode), then ask me, I will explain.
If you are using type-4 modem (i.e. with wi-fi or wireless), you must add security password, so that unknown person should not use your modem. I will mention all security related issue during modem configuration.
Ok, let's start. I will take all modems one by one.

Choose your modem of interest:

  • ITI DNA-A201BEI (Type-1):

  • ITI DNA-A211-I (Type-4):

  • NSN C2110 (Type-1):

  • NSN Resident Router 1600 (Type-4):

    9. Hi, I've purchased new TP-LINK TD-W8151N ADSL+ modem router. It shows some errors. I tried to fix them but can't. So my request is that please could you provide me a fresh installation procedure for aforementioned modem. No matter which mode (bridge/PPPoE) you provide just make it work. I'll be very thankful. I'm using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
